This handmade traditional Pichwai painting by Imagineers holds Shrinath Ji at the heart of a beautiful pictorial scene of Annakut Bhog, famously known as Govardhan Pooja.

‘Annakut’ means‘ Mountain of food’. Annakut or Govardhan Pooja is celebrated on the fourth day of Diwali festival. On this day, a mountain of cooked food and fruits are offered as bhog to Lord Shrinath ji as a gesture of thank fullness for lifting the Govardhan Parvat on his little finger to save his village ‘Braj’ from the rain storm caused by Lord Indra Dev.

This pichwai depicts lord Shrinath ji in 24 different Darshan attires with varied intricate detailing in each.

The base of this pichwai handmade painting is a hand spun cotton cloth. all colors used in this painting are made of natural stone pigments.
